Apple has just released iOS 12.3 which is likely to be the the last major iOS 12 update. It has also released new versions of macOS, watchOS, and tvOS operating systems for iPhones and iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and Apple TVs, respectively.
The updates comes with several new features, one of which is centered on the TV app which has been completely redesigned with a new interface to make finding and streaming content a lot easier.
It now comes with easier-to-navigate menu tabs for a user’s TV, movie and iTunes content. It still features Watch Now and Up Next sections, but will also include new human- and machine-curated recommendations that will help users figure out what to watch next.
The New Tv App for Ios includes Apple’s new Channels feature that lets users sign up, subscribe and access premium TV content without needing to download and open a third-party application or ever needing to leave the app itself.
Currently, Apple TV Channels supports several premium content providers, such as HBO, Showtime, Starz, Cinemax and Epix, among others. More TV providers will be added later on.
