This feature often provides about 15W – 30W output allowing your phone to charge at the fastest rate possible – depending on the maximum wattage your device is able to handle.
There is also the Power Delivery fast charging feature that is compatible with only certain devices, particularly those that sport the USB C power delivery port. If your phone has this feature, then getting a power delivery USB charger would most likely be a good option.
This is another important factor to pay attention to when buying a USB charger. Most devices have specific maximum Wattage they can receive from any charger. So if your phone is designed to handle a maximum of 10W to charge, a 30W charger can do the job, but will only deliver nothing more than 10W to your phone. However if you use a charger less than 10W, the pace at which your phone charges will be slow.
To estimate the maximum output you can get from a charger in Wattage, simply multiply the voltage and the amperage. So before going for any charger, it is advisable to check for compatibility by examining the specifications imprinted on the body of the charger and comparing with your phone’s rating.
