Galaxy Z Flip receives One UI 2.5 Update

Just recently Samsung pushed out the One UI 2.5 update, the latest iteration of its software to the S20 series shortly after the software debuted on/with the Note 20 Line Up. Samsung has now started rolling out same update to the Galaxy Z Flip, although currently to the United States for now. The update brings along several new features for example, you can now request for the password to a Wi-fi’s connection from a saved contact. The update now enables you to search results from YouTube in the Samsung Keyboard search function, and you can now use split keyboard in landscape mode. Changelog Other cool features include support for using Bitmoji stickers in Always On Display, which might be exclusive to the Galaxy Z Flip as we don’t see it on our Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There is also an enhanced Pro video mode, which now lets you select which on-device microphone is used for audio recording, enables recording via Bluetooth and USB microphones, and includes an option to record videos in 21:9 aspect ratio. The update for the Z Flip also includes the August security patch, and its download size is about 1.1GB. You can get the update if you head to Settings > Software update > download and install. One UI 2.5 update is currently available only in the US region for now, but users in other regions should expect the update in coming days. Source. Via.

So unless you reside in the region and what not, otherwise, it would be out of reach. Samsung Galaxy A01 Core runs on Android (Go Edition). New Bean-Shaped Samsung TWS Earphones Leaks in Three New Colours

Thanks to previous leaks, we already know what shape the next iteration of the Galaxy Buds will come in. But today, a new set of renders shared by Evan Blass (American blogger and phone leaker) have revealed 3 interesting coloured charging cases of the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live TWS Earphones. The leaked renders show the earphones in Mystic Bronze color with a glossy exterior. The compact design of the earbuds which will supposedly measure in 2.8cm will fit in easily and comfortably in user's ears without poking out much. However, based on previous leaks, the earbuds won't come with silicon tips which could affect sound isolation. The earbuds will have two microphone holes along with a grille opening, two LED charging indicators - one can be found inside the slots for the two Buds and the other is on the outside on the front - and a rubber strip lid. Samsung TWS Buds are expected to come with Active Noise Cancellation, so these could be for enabling an Ambient Sound mode. Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are expected to be unveiled at Samsung Unpacked on August 5, 2020, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Tab S7, and the Galaxy Watch 3.

But if you have the LTE models, you can manually check for the new software by heading to Settings > Software update > then select Download and install. And If the update isn't available after checking, you might need to wait and check back a few days later.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Unveiled

Samsung has just unveiled a revamped version of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core in India. The device still goes by the same name, but with a 2020 tag. As you know, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core was originally launched in 2018 as a low budget device running on Android Go edition optimized for low end hardware. Then, if you're wondering what modifications has been made and what the 2020 version has in store, evidently there isn't much to be excited about, as the device has almost the same specifications as its predecessor. With the same 2600 mAh battery (which is also removable) capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 is also powered by Samsung's Exynos 7570 Quad (14 nm), plus a 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 and a Mali-T720. It still also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) which is rather disappointing, don't you think? The Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 sports a 5 inch LCD display with a 540 x 960px resolution. The front build is made of glass although this time around it isn't certain if it also has the Gorilla Glass protection. Also we can still see a lack of notch on the top of the screen which shows the old fashioned bezels encircling the front build. When it comes to the camera setup, just like the original J2 Core, the 2020 version is equipped with a 5mp selfie camera and an 8mp sensor and auto focus lens on the rear that can record 1080p video at 30fps. However, with the storage of this year's version, you get 16GB in built capacity with a dedicated microUSB slot that can accommodate up to 256GB. And as for the memory, which apparently is another disappointing feature, Samsung still maintains the 1GB RAM capacity. As you can see, there isn't much of anything quite remarkable about the modification, however you can take your time to view the full specifications here.

Samsung Galaxy M11 leaks on Google

Apart from the recent addition to the Samsung M series mid-range smartphones – Samsung M21 - which now has a confirmed launch date, it seems the company is set on expanding the M series even further, and this is because just recently, an image was spotted on Google that showed the front panel design and some key specifications of a Samsung device - Samsung Galaxy M11. The tech company has not revealed any information about the M11 or its release into the market yet, however, according to the image seen on Google Play Console listing, the Samsung M11 has a punch hole selfie camera in the upper left side of the screen, and a volume and power button on the right side. The image also showed that the Samsung Galaxy M11 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and will run Android 10 with Samsung's One UI 2.0. The device will have a screen resolution of 1560 X 720 with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is also rumoured to be available in 3GB of RAM. Apart from the above information, the leaked image had no other information concerning the camera and other key specifications.
