Tecno Phantom 9 Review
Most people thought it was the end of the road for the phantom series, but as we have it, Tecno finally released a new addition – Tecno Phantom 9 to its flagship devices earlier this month. Although the time expectation for the release of another phantom was last year, however Tecno decided to roll out the Camon series instead. Anyway, now that we finally have the new phantom device which goes for about N78, 000, question is, how impressive is it and is it worth buying? It has a water drop notch which can be hidden in the settings (for those that do not like the notch feature), and a full screen which is protected by a Gorilla Glass 5. On the front panel is the front camera with a front led flash, on the side, you get the volume and the power buttons while below the panel is the speaker, a headphone jack and a micro USB charging port; this is a downside as we were expecting a type C USB port like the recent flagship devices. The 6.4 inches device comes with an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a full HD display. It is Tecno’s first device to feature an Amoled display. Powered by Octa-core 2.3 GHz Mediatek Helio P35 processor, Tecno phantom 9 runs HIOS 5.0 based on Android 9 Pie with 6GB RAM and 128GB of in built storage (up to 256GB).
